Does everyone want some cheese with your whine? IMO I think topps has done a pretty good job of ressurrecting a pretty much dead industry in the late 90s. I dont know the facts but i would guess that demand is strong as ever, or at least close to what it was in 90s before it crashed.
Stars of the Game
Really curious to see the checklist on the grapefruit league and the Legacy of Baseball Autographs . My favorite is the 2016 set – loved the mold-breaking borderless design. 2017 wasn’t as innovative; 2018 was a little better. Naturally, the rich history of the flagship Topps Baseball product line has resulted in many different designs over the year.

Each 150 Years of Professional Baseball Series One card is also available in the following parallels. While this card is short-printed, it does not appear to be as extremely short-printed as the 2012 Harper or 2018 Acuna and Torres cards were. It also appears to be more attainable that any of the other Series Two gimmick cards. Each Series One Legends Gimmick card has the production code on the reverse side of "#CMP031968".

Like the ‘Advance Stat’ inserts but the rest- same old, same old. And, i’s prefer a card with a border instead of the photo / print going all the way to the edge. The beauty of collecting is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I count 3 shills for topps trying to put a spin on this crappy design.
Once again, Topps incorrectly states that each card is a "one-of-one." The correct production figures for each card are listed below. These cards are exclusive to Series Two Hobby and Jumbo packs. Included in all factory sets is a Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. card.
Revolution of the Game Set Checklist

Maybe since none of the above are going to purchase any, I can have a nice selection to choose from at the shops. This site lists Hobby configurations only, but a little research online also shows that retail blasters will have less cards too. Updated info will be added when it’s available. However, the base set for Series 1 is normally 350 cards. Not sure of the design they look more like an insert card than a standard base card but we will have to see what they look like in person to really tell. Best part of this set for me was the Ronald Acuna highlights that came in hanger and blaster boxes. Not to mention I received two Pedroia 150 year patch cards in a row. Topps is placing inserts into certain products only – like the 100 stars of the game in retail single packs.
Evolution of focuses on the many changes in the game over the years, such as equipment, logos, stadiums and uniforms. Moving past the field of play, Revolution of the Game is for the game-changing subjects who weren’t players. The standard flagship base set of 350 cards showcases top veterans, rookies and teams. There are also subsets for Future Stars, League Leaders and World Series Highlights. Since the Home Run Challenge game is dependent on the number of cards redeemed and the performance of each individual player, not all 50 cards have a parallel in each color. This set is exclusive to Series Two Hobby wax and Hobby Jumbo packs and is serial-numbered to ten.
The autos were mostly forgettable but did hit one of the 1/1 cut autos . First box of Topps I have bought in years because the design to me is much better than what we have had lately. Like a couple collectors above, I bought a jumbo and only got one auto and one GU (Trout Hat Logo/50). A little concerning that these boxes are short but also relieved it just wasn’t mine. Was also pleased I got 349 of the 350 for the complete base set, which along with 1984 retro stuff, is what I really wanted. The150th Anniversary Commemorative Patchcards come only in relic Blaster boxes.
A set of five Rookie Variations were included in each retail factory set. There is a second Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. card sequentially-numbered "700" in this set. Whereas the card included in all factory sets has Guerrero in a white jersey, the card only available in retail factory sets has him in a blue jersey. Five cards from this 25-card set were inserted into specially-marked factory sets sold at Target stores.

Has anyone noticed the artwork on card #101 for Michael Taylor? Above the foot on the right-hand side, there is a chip torn out of the picture that landed directly horizontal near his left kneecap.
